The concept
In order to reconcile biosecurity and cold preservation, OBCL offers a solution tailored to your refrigerated warehouse projects.
These buildings provide the best performance in terms of indoor environmental control, safety, and process optimization.
An optimal design and great adaptability guarantee you all the advantages of the best production units, from receiving goods, through the various phases of the process, to packaging and loading of finished products.
The structure
Our structure is made of bolted thin profiles, providing buildings with both lightness and high mechanical strength. The production areas have no intermediate columns.
We can guarantee spans of12 m to 55 m between columns.and leave the field open for a layout of partitions that is as functional as possible. The internal structure being invisible allows for easy maintenance and optimal biosecurity.
All our structures are fullygalvanized to a minimum of 275 g/m², offering perfect resistance to all weather conditions.
The cladding
Our walls and partitions are entirely made ofinsulated sandwich panels with polyurethane foam, with thicknesses ranging from 100 to 200 mm.
The latest generation coatings facilitate cleaning and meet strict hygiene requirements (approved for food contact).
The use of sandwich panels ensures perfect thermal insulation and optimal energy control of the building. We thus ensurethe absence of thermal bridgesand perfect air tightness.
Cold rooms and freezing tunnels
One of our specialties is the design and construction of cold rooms. We are experts in the implementation of:
- Positive cold rooms— refrigerated storage
- Negative cold rooms— down to -20 °C
- Forced air freezing tunnels— down to -40 °C
These installations include underfloor heating, high-performance insulation, appropriate ventilation, pressure regulation, and specific door frames — all ensuring perfect temperature control and preservation of goods.
